MACKENZIE'S MISSION WORK!
Hi! My name is Mackenzie Sheehan, I'm nineteen years old and I love the Lord! I am currently a full time missionary with YWAM (youth with a mission), based out of Kona, Hawaii! I am originally from Massachusetts, and I've been a believer for about six years. It wasn't until about two years ago though that I completely gave my life to God. The love of Jesus is truly life changing, and I got a small taste of that while on my first missions trip to the Dominican Republic the summer before my senior year of high school. Since then, it has been amazing seeing the transformation in my own heart and in the hearts around me! We serve such a selfless God, who loves redeeming us! He took me; a broken and completely lost sinner, and gave me a new hope and everlasting purpose- to know Him and make Him known! I am so grateful that I get to serve the Lord and share my journey with you!

What is DTS?
DTS stands for Discipleship Training School. This is a six month school that focuses on two parts: lecture phase and outreach. During the first three months (lecture phase), our students will hear from new speakers each week about different biblical topics and teachings. These three months are set aside for each student and staff to grow in their personal walk with the Lord; stepping out in more freedom and faith than ever before. The second half of DTS (outreach) is when our school goes out in teams all over the world to different nations to make the name of Jesus known! This time is an incredible opportunity for our teams to step out in faith and put to practice all the things that they learned during lecture. They will live fully with a community; doing evangelism, prayer and intercession, teaching, mercy ministries and so many other things! Outreach is life changing and gives people a heart for what the Lord is doing in the nations of the world!
