Hello from Fiji! I have been in Fiji for over a week and a half and it is already starting to feel like home. My team and I have jumped into different ministries here and just the regular Fijian way of living and we love it more and more each day. This past week has been very busy for us. This past weekend consisted of a lot of time with the youth here. The youth involved in our contact's church have a group called Primal (a youth group) and are such an amazing group of young people. The leadership, love for each other, and heart for Jesus is so encouraging to us. I can already see that God has amazing plans for them and is going to call out so many fruits in them that will be used to change the world. I feel particularly led to have this my focus ministry. I have already become close friends with two of the girls in this group, who are around my age, and feel that God really wants me to pour into these friendships and serve them in any ways I can. We have also done some street ministries and door to door evangelism. These ministries are so easy to do because the people here are so friendly and relational. People here want to be prayed for and want to hear what we have to say, even if it turns out they do not fully agree with what we are saying. We also got the opportunity to speak at the Secondary School (high school) here yesterday. We prayed for the students for their upcoming exams and gave a short message about our inability to fail God. I'm so excited to say that we get to go back and do the same thing every Wednesday throughout our stay here. It's amazing that a public school is so open to Jesus here, because in America it is definitely not the same way. We have also done many prayer walks and prayed over land and homes. God has given me the realization since coming here that blessing and anointing a piece of land or home or anything is so important because it marks that area with the Holy Spirit forever. If we ask the Lord to fill someone or some place, He will not leave that place even when we leave. The Bible talks about blessing and anointing so many times and it has been an encouragement to me to be able to dedicate and bless anything and everything in the name of Jesus. Update on prayer requests: Please pray for the young people here that we are ministering to and befriending while we are here in Savusavu. Pray that they are open to sharing what God is doing in the hearts and that they are open to new breakthrough and revelations from the Lord. Also please pray for a blanket of protection over our team and the people partnering with us. My teammates names are Emery (the leader), Alex, Kevin, and Jeremiah: please keep them in your prayers as well. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership with what God is doing here in Fiji! God bless, Mackenzie
